Terms of Service

The rules of using Naviho. Written so you can actually read them. A solicitor has reviewed the substantive points; the plain English is on us.

Short version: Naviho gives you a free compliance health check, sells a GBP 29 detailed report, and offers tiered property management (Let-Only, Rent Collection, Full Management, or Premium / Guaranteed Rent) - current rates are published at /landlords and may be amended from time to time by Naviho with 30 days written notice. Reports are informational only and are not legal advice. If something we did caused a loss, our liability is capped at what you paid us in the last 12 months. England and Wales law applies.

1. Who we are

"Naviho" means Naviho Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. We are part of HM-D Group. You can reach us at info@naviho.com.

"You" means the person or organisation using the service. When we say "the service" we mean naviho.com, the Compliance Check, the Premium Compliance Report Pack, and (if you are a customer) the property management service.

2. What Naviho does

Naviho provides three things:

  • Compliance assessment - the free health check that scores your property against the current UK regime (England or Wales).
  • AI-generated remediation reports - the Premium Compliance Report Pack, generated by AI and reviewed against our compliance rules.
  • Property management services - end-to-end management of UK rental property under a separate service agreement.

3. Pricing

  • Free Compliance Check - no charge. No card required.
  • Premium Compliance Report Pack - GBP 29, one-time, paid via Stripe. The report is generated and delivered to your email within minutes of payment.
  • Property management - tiered service levels (Let-Only, Rent Collection, Full Management, or Premium / Guaranteed Rent). Current rates are published at /landlords and may be amended from time to time by Naviho with 30 days written notice. Each engagement is quoted at the discovery call and governed by a separate property management agreement, not by these Terms.

4. Refunds (Premium Report)

Because the Premium Report is generated and delivered to you immediately on payment, refunds are at Naviho's discretion. Here is how we apply that discretion in practice:

  • If we fail to deliver within 24 hours due to our fault - full refund, no questions asked. Email info@naviho.com.
  • If you dispute the quality or accuracy of the content - email info@naviho.com within 14 days of receiving the report with the specific issue. We will review, and if your point is fair we will either regenerate the report or refund you.
  • If you simply changed your mind after receiving the report - because the report is a digital good delivered immediately with your consent, the standard distance-selling cancellation right does not apply once delivery has started. We may still refund as a goodwill gesture, but it is not a right.

5. What our reports are (and are not)

The compliance score and Premium Report are informational only. They are tools to help you understand where your property sits against the current regime. They are not legal, financial, or professional advice.

Naviho is not a regulated legal services provider. For complex disputes, possession proceedings, or anything where you need formal legal advice, consult a solicitor regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA).

6. Our liability

We do our best to give you accurate, current information. Things can still go wrong. Here is how liability sits:

  • Our total liability under these Terms is capped at the amount you have paid Naviho in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim.
  • We exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss to the extent the law allows, including loss of profit, loss of business, loss of goodwill, and loss of opportunity.
  • Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud.

7. Acceptable use

By using the service, you agree not to:

  • Scrape, mirror, or systematically harvest the service
  • Reverse engineer the API or the scoring logic
  • Use Naviho reports to defraud tenants, evade compliance obligations, or misrepresent your property's status to a third party
  • Use the service to send unlawful, harmful, or abusive content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any account, system, or data belonging to Naviho or another user

We can suspend or terminate access if you breach these rules.

8. Intellectual property

The Naviho name, logo, website, scoring rules, and report templates are ours (or our licensors'). The report we deliver to you is licensed to you for your own use as a landlord, investor, or tenant. You can share it with your professional advisers. You cannot resell it or pass it off as your own product.

9. Privacy and cookies

How we handle your personal data is covered in our Privacy Policy. What runs in your browser is covered in our Cookies Notice.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Updates are posted to this page with the "Last updated" date at the top. For material changes that affect active customers, we will email you at least 14 days before they take effect. If you keep using the service after a change takes effect, you accept the new version.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the service.
