Over the last few years I have made changes to my dietary lifestyle. Since I was diagnosed with Leukemia, I had to take certain things out of my diet as they added to my side effects. I eat very little sugar (should say none, but hey, sometimes a girl needs a treat), no preservatives, very little carbs. Living alone can be a challenge when it comes to cooking meals so I bought a slow cooker. Best thing ever. Put all ingredients into pot, add a dash of liquid and let it do it's thing. I can freeze half for another time and eat the rest over 2 days. Healthy and delicious!

A slow cooker is a game-changer, especially for maintaining a healthy diet with minimal effort. It allows for easy meal prep, helping to create nutritious, preservative-free meals without the hassle of daily cooking. Plus, freezing portions for later makes it even more convenient. Whether you're making soups, stews, or lean protein dishes, it's a simple way to stay on track with dietary needs.
