I know that solar heating is obviously a great solution to reducing costs as well as impact on the environment. I have heard that the initial cost to install is expensive but that they pay themselves off quickly with the savings. How challenging is it to convert a home run with traditional electricity to solar heating, especially in winter?

I did look into it but it seemed like it just wasn't as good in the UK. I decided I would just go full solar on the roof when I build my tiny and get a water heater. It won't be enough to power everything but it's a start.
